Please note that registration for the conference includes a one-time fee of €1.00 for membership of the Organizing Body; Comitato Esino Lario. This is a non-profit membership organization created for the delivery of the conference as a charitable enterprise.

Accommodation
All the accommodation in Esino Lario, Italy, is in shared rooms and simple accommodation. If you choose the ticket including the accommodation, the organisers of Wikimania Esino Lario 2016 will assign you a room either in an apartment or a dorm.
Please note, if you choose the ticket without accommodation, you will need to book your own accommodation outside Esino Lario.

You can register with the full package of accommodation and all meals included, or register just to attend the conference and find your own accommodation near-by Esino Lario.
However, to stay in Esino Lario you will need to book your accommodation with us.
Airport transfers
We have arranged for groups to be picked up from the main Milan airports and taken to Esino Lario on Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd of June. The journey from any of the airports in Milan (Malpensa, Linate, Orio al Serio) to Esino Lario takes around 2 hours. We recommend to book flights with a scheduled arrival time either in the morning or early afternoon.
We have also arranged return transfers for Monday 27th June. If you are not flying out from one of these three airports, you can take the shuttle to Linate airport and from here take the local bus to the centre or Milan. From the centre of Milan you can take a train to all major Italian cities and many EU cities.
Please let us know what airport you are flying into (and ideally time and flight number).

Travel - air fares discounts
We have arranged air travel discounts to be granted to Wikimania registered participants. Once you receive your confirmation email you will also receive credentials for discounted air fares granted by our partner airline group.
Visas
If you need to apply for a VISA remember to start your visa registration process as soon as possible.
Cancellation policy
Your registration to Wikimania Esino Lario 2016 can be cancelled before Friday, 15 April 2016. However, a fee of €100 will be retained from your reimbursement if you cancel before this date, and we will not refund tickets after Friday, 15 April 2016.
Registration Closing Date
The number of “Full tickets” on sale is limited by the rooms available in Esino Lario. Registration for full tickets will close once all tickets have been sold or at the latest on Sunday, 15 May 2016.
Full tickets without accommodation will be on sale until Sunday, 15 May 2016.
Simple tickets will be on sale until Friday, 10 June 2016, or until the maximum set number of participants has been reached. Simple tickets will also be available for sale directly in Esino Lario during the conference.
Donations
Your donations will be used to help cover scholarships for volunteers (meals, transportation to Esino Lario etc.) involved in Wikimania Esino Lario 2016.
