English: Interior view of the glass ceiling of the courtyard of the Postal Palace, Mexico City (Mexico). The building was built at the beginning of the 20th century, when the Post Office became a separate government entity in Mexico. Its design and construction back then was the most modern of the time. In the 1950s, the building was modified and its structure was affected, so when the 1985 earthquake struck Mexico City, this building was heavily damaged, undergoing restoration works in the 1990s.

El edificio fue contruido a comienzos del siglo XX, cuando Correos se convirtió en una entidad propia del gobierno de México. Su diseño y construcción fue entonces vanguardista. En los años 1950 el edificio fue modificado y su estructura se vio afectada, de forma que en el terremoto de México de 1985, el edificio fue seriamente dañado, por lo que fue restaurado en los años 1990.
