Abstract

Wikimedia foundation projects, the foundation it self and the wikimedia movement in general face various ethical problems based on centralization of power concerning budget and project management. Concretely, the question of the iron law of oligarchy rise into the Wikipedia movement. The target of this talk is to convince wikimedia movement member to have an intern discussion about this issue.

This talk will concern specificaly :

Theoritical democratic participating consensual governance and practical olligarchy in decision making process on Wikimedia sphere.

Participation of active éditors in budget management witch come from donations due to there activities.
